God’s Creation Wednesday…

Over the weekend, while standing on the back deck, my husband looked over the fence and something caught his eye. He looked in the tree and could not believe what he was seeing.  He ran inside to tell eveyone and we scrambled for binoculars and camera.  We tried to take some decent pictures but this little digital only does so much. With the exception of when our friend went out for some carry out lunch, he sat there on that branch all day.  He was big enough that I actaully warned the kidsa bout letting our little dog out.  He was perched in the tree in just the right spot to swoop down in our back yard.  He was beautiful. You could see his feathers all fluffed up and occasionally moving in the wind. He looked so majestic sitting on that branch.

Last but not least…our dancing Thanksgiving Turkey minus his dancing partner

  4. I’m thinking that was a hawk of some kind, do you know what it was for sure? Great pictures and glad that you didn’t let the little dog out, he would have been a real feast for the bird of prey.

Love the turkey, how did you wind up cooking him?
